This is standard, and we’ll get the premiere dates sometime in the summer months. The premiere dates haven’t been revealed yet, though. ET/PT timeslot, because why “fix” something that isn’t even broken? NBC released its fall schedule in May and we know that One Chicago Wednesdays will remain a thing. We’re looking at around four months, which is standard for the summer break of all broadcast TV shows. The wait is going to be a relatively long one. When will new episodes of Chicago Fire return? We already know that the series is renewed for an 11th season. The good news is we will eventually get answers. The previous episode was the season finale, which is why there were so many questions left over at the end. Why would NBC put the series on yet another break? Well, as mentioned, the show is heading on its summer break. Why isn’t a new episode of Chicago Fire on tonight? We head back into the ninth hour of the most recent season, titled “Winterfest.” This is the episode that saw Brett prepare for the panel to promote her paramedicine program. There isn’t going to be a new episode of the series tonight. The previous episode left us with a ton of questions, and we want answers. There is no doubt that we’d love to dive back into more calls with Firehouse 51. Will we get answers in a new episode tonight, Wednesday, June 1? It’ll also be a nice opportunity to develop the bond that’s been teased between him and newcomer Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar).A lot went down in the previous episode of Chicago Fire, and we still have a few questions. It’ll be nice to see a focus on Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins), since he’s largely played a background role to most of the other characters in season 10. The synopsis for the episode, titled “Sympathetic Reflex”, reads as follows:Ītwater’s reactions during a tense arrest are called into question the team must dig in to uncover key evidence that could aid in the ongoing investigation and clear Atwater’s name. Instead, NBC will air the 90th Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center. There isn’t even going to be a rerun of Chicago Fire on tonight. Those who saw the promo at the end of “Pink Cloud” know that November 2 has already been confirmed as the return date, and there’s already been detailed plot info released about the upcoming episode. However, NBC is taking another night off from new episodes of the entire One Chicago lineup. There’s also the solace that PD will only be gone for a single week, and will be back with a brand new episode on Wednesday, November 2. It’s unfortunate, given the momentum that the procedural has been able to amass so far, but it makes sense, given that we’re a decent amount of time into the season. ![]() This will mark the first week that PD hasn’t aired since it returned for season 10. NBC will instead be airing a rerun of the season 10 premiere, which delves into the aforementioned drama with Voight and the rest of the IU. There will not be a new episode of Chicago PD airing tonight, Wednesday, October 26. What to expect in Chicago PD season 10, episode 6 Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little bit longer than usual. The show has been reinvigorated by the casting shake up, and it’s been exciting to see where each of the characters (old or new) will go next. It’s been more bleak than it’s One Chicago peers, but it’s also made for compelling television. We’ve seen the departure of Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), the internal struggle of Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), and most recently, an attempt by Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) to get lost in her work.
